The Process

What to Expect

Individual coaching sessions

Each one-on-one coaching session is unique, guided by what you’re navigating, your goals and what’s most present for you at the moment. Individual sessions are one-hour, in-person in Almonte or via Zoom.

Questions or need to schedule a session at a time outside my office hours, email me: jb@jacobberkowitz.com

Deep Conversation

Deep conversation is an exploration of what’s alive in you. You connect beliefs and feelings, your adult present with your childhood past, and memories with reactive behaviours you don’t understand. You connect body sensations (a tight chest, bad back, bladder problems) with emotions. In deep conversation you’re like an astronaut, except it’s inner space exploration. You “return to Earth” with a new view of yourself and what’s possible.

A Safe Space

When you want to grow and transform you need to explore what feels vulnerable and to do this you need a safe space. I offer a non-judgmental space in which you can talk about what’s really going on in your life. It’s 100% confidential.

Full Openness

I welcome all of you—body, mind, experiences, beliefs and emotions. Transformation is sparked when you speak and sit with your deepest truths. This turns shame and fear into belonging and purpose.

Witness and Encouragement

Something special happens when there’s a witness to your spoken desire for change. The thing that’s bothered you for decades doesn’t have that emotional charge for the witness. In that moment you see and feel that what you thought was inevitable in how you feel isn’t. A different, freer path opens-up for you.

Empowerment

Every person comes to life coaching with a specific issue, from a difficult relationship to a stuck entrepreneurial dream. Below the issue is the bedrock of you. This is where we’ll work because it’s the realm of your power. As you work on one issue, you’ll tune you into your calm, centered self so you operate from integrity and purpose in all parts of your life.

A real relationship isn’t built on being nice, it’s built on being real.
